"Martial king "of" true soul realm"...? You mean martial king wasn't a cultivation stage itself? Hmm... I guess that explains why the gap isn't so large. Since the elder seems to be a higher level of the chief, does that mean that the current leader of the sect isn't even at true soul realm yet? Meaning that the leader's son and mc are as high, or higher in cultivation than the sect leader?

Thank god he actually made the smarter mover and attacked the chief instead. The elder guy can't pass saving the current face of the sect, lest they fall in reputation... and power. If word gets out they lost their leader to a rebelling student, their sect would be the laughingstock of the entire region. Just for the hell of it, I hope he dies anyway.
